Meet the Team
Jared Jones
Owner / Gold Seal CFI/CFII, FAASTeam RepresentativeJared began flying in 1996, at just 16 years old. He earned his Private Pilot Pilot Certificate at 17 and worked feverishly to achieve his dream of becoming an Airline Pilot. He was hired at Mesa Airlines at 20 years old as a Dash 8-200 First Officer based in Phoenix, AZ. At Mesa, He flew the Dash 8, CRJ-200/700 and 900. He upgraded to CRJ Captain at 23 years Old and became a Regional Chief Pilot at 25 years Old.
In 2006, he was hired at JetBlue Airways as an Airbus A320/A321 First Officer, based in Long Beach/Los Angeles, CA. He upgraded to A320/321 Captain in 2013 in the Boston base. In 2021, JetBlue acquired the new Airbus A220-300. He moved over to the A220 and is currently a Check Airman in the aircraft, Training and Evaluating Pilots during Line Operations.
Jared brings 30 years of knowledge and experience to his instruction, and is currently a Gold Seal CFI/CFII and part of the FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam).

Christian Lopez
Christian is widely regarded as the best CFI/CFII/MEI in the region, having 49 of 50 students pass their Check Rides on their first attempt. In his Professional life, he flies the Citation XLS out of KBED. Christian has a trueblove of flying, and continues to instruct and providing guidance and mentorship to pilots.
Kelly Jones
Owner/ManagerKelly comes from an Aviation family. Her Grandfather was a WWII Pilot, shot down in his B-24 in the Pacific, saving 7 of 8 Airman on his aircraft. Her Father flew the F-4 Phantom and F-16 Falcon in the US Air Force and flew Convairs to DC-10’s for the Airlines afterwards. Her brother is a Captain for Jetblue, and her Husband is as well.
Kelly is continuing the legacy of Airman, earning her Private Pilots Certificate in 2026, and is currently working on her Instrument Rating.
